So what happened to Monkey Bizzness any way?

Many people go to the past without thinking that things might have changed.

The need for a independent none Lee Communications held newspaper is clearly needed in the Magic Valley. So back in 1995 a sweet young honey originally from Montana, moved to Gooding Idaho. Over time through some connections created a more want ad, little editorial, newspaper that was free for the taking. The newspaper was supported through advertising rather than subscription. By 1997 I had moved back albeit on the short stick but was in Hazzard, and went up for a brew at the Y, just before it became Outlaws and Angels.

I picked up Monkey Bizzness and was impressed. A cup of coffee, and a lunch and I began doing a truckers page in Monkey Bizzness, in fact that’s where my secondary salutation as RoadWolf began, I modified it to RodeWolf two years later.

I wrote about old John Deere’s, and going trucking.

In 2000 , Mickey came to me needing some cash for her stash, and was being pressured by good old Strickland. So she pitched the idea of us buying Monkey Bizzness of course I jumped at it. So $3,000.00 later , Monkey Bizzness was purchased by the Hazzard Knytes and became, the Hazzard Gazzette.

That’s what happened to Monkey Bizzness.

Heard tell that Mickey now works for the Idaho Statesman, newspaper in Boise.
