Another day at the ranch

 

Good Saturday morning to most of ya’ll. Had every intention to be on the air overnight, but I hit the rack and I do mean rack, at 21:00 and did not see real day until 03:30 when I needed feed, but shortly there after with a zap from my hot box, best damn $75.00 I ever spent. But a zap, up to the poorly lit 711 why 711 is no longer in Idaho I dunknow, but so it is. A nutty yogurt a quart of milk and I’m at peace.

After a frustrating day yesterday in the ongoing saga of finding a home, I have it narrowed down to two. One in Evanston, and one near Tooele. NOT in Metro Utah and not on the Wasatch front. Funny nothing affordable in metro Utah. No wonder from Ogden to Draper, the area is being touted as the Beverly Hills of the Mountain West. At least I have the office at least short term. I was looking at economics, My economics and the clubs. But before I get drenched here, understand I nearly did not rent this office, as I had most if not all I needed in Ogden at the RoadHouse. But a disgruntled Landlord, and a busybody roommate who acted more like a Diva than any Diva I have ever known, here’s the office. Which in many ways has kept draining me. But I looked at the bank account. If I went the route of Tooele/office and all in Woods Cross I retain after bills $80.00 . If I move the entire operation , kill the office and haul it all to Evanston, I keep $258.00 which after $175.00 phone internet. I keep in pocket the same $80.00 but all is paid.

Now don’t get me wrong at all. Having the office is great and considering the circumstances over the last 3 months and all the office/studio here has been a God send. But too why? If there were any serious goings on here, on air people especially women, coming and going that’d be one thing, if there were tons of ad dollars rolling in, and the situation was justified I’d say, hell yes make the sacrifice. But they ain’t no cash in the stash and the stash gets bare all too fast so why keep killing my wallet? I’d just as soon pay the phone bill, move the entire operation to Evanston, and refine the gig even more, then if the conditions of the situation justifies themselves, then engage a office gig there, and then. But not now. Still have a week to mull it over, but at least I can rest for a bit, get my Head in The race here at HazzardAyre Radio, and get things rolling for the AyreWolvez, and pave the way for Alex Adams who will be XO of the AyreWolvez next year as I take over operations of acting organizing President of the RodeWolvez under their rebuild.

On the thing of 4.2 and METV, I’m still waiting for a call from there. I have nearly exhausted my limits of patience and all for that. Sure I’d like to see an ad there on Black Sheep Squadron of and for a aviation relic enthusiasts group made up from the 214 itself, but there’s all too much of a condition, that even with it being at low rates, is the inexpensive worth the frustration? Seems as though the greedy still will not take money, for something they should. Even considering that I can still scan METV on AllWest as well as OTA, from Evanston. You’d think getting on there would be a proper direction, but its in the hands of the Sales head cheese there at KTVX, so I’m letting it rest.

I think that the condition there is KTVX bit off too much to swallow buying METV from the folks in St. George, and would just asoon divest itself from it but nobody is willing to buy the channel from them, but trust me the AyreWolvez would if we could.

From Global warming to the tree huggers; this political correctness even to the degree of not showing our rebel flag has gotten way out of hand. Damn if they don’t damn us if they do. My emotions just wont take it, so the choice here. Build a commercial or two, get known and then put on an ad on the network, and not rely on METV’s affiliate here in Utah.
