Headline Boner: 1900 numbers and Telemarketers gifts from a bygone era

Okay its Monday, got awaken up by a call from some fast pitched and hungry as a jaguar at selling me something. So as usual the parade of telemarketers stampede over my cyber highway, even my slumber rest area.

There’s an old adage that says, doing the same stuff but expecting different results is ludicrous. Yet millions of millions of firms still use telemarketing firms to get a feel for the pulse of the consumer, knowing full well that millions of consumers including themselves would just asoon, avoid the pushy telemarketer.

There are more inexpensive ways of getting the word out of what you do, who you do it for and why people should spend money with your firm.

The reason people choose us is because they are the low cost advertiser. Not the Wal-Mart or Costco, but independent business’s trying to erk out a living. Who can use a shot in the arm as far as media ink, but not have to sell the business to cover the bill.
