Look beyond the immediate view

Ya have to admire people of the big city. They only think they’re intelligent.

There are many that see the immediate view yet don’t see the wider expanse and realize some of the idiocy of Metro Utah, and places southern Idaho is from nuclear testing down St. George way back in the mid 1950’s. More over that same ignorance and to a mere degree of arrogance, is what prevents some firms from advancing, and even some firms from advancing together.

But lets look at the core outfit here.

KSL. Now KSL is a piece of the LDS Church, we all know this. As ancient as the Book of Mormon itself. Both the radio and TV station exists, to be the laison, of church to secular to keep members informed during the great return of Christ or war. Or both.

During the years, from Romper Room( I did that twice) to Admiral Bernie ( I did that 4 times) I have gotten to know KSL pretty well.

For a time there, seemed as though every time I took a step or did something here at Dixie Diesel, predecessor to HazzardAyre, KSL followed. I was flattered. So then came that faithful day that KSL took on running the Road Gang. The over night long haul trucker radio show based out of Nashville. Trouble is KSL didn’t know how to sell it.

All you’d hear is PSA for Church owned companies. Or substitutions for programming. Like the night that Princess Diana was murdered. Right away the Road Gang was interupted and on with news of Princess Diana. same went for her burial. Really? While the backbone of America is needing to be kept alive and happy, we’re hearing about some spoiled woman from England. So in the end The UAITA, through both the RodeWolvez as well as the Knytes, bought both the remains and rights to programming of the Road Gang, as well as the Interstate Truckers Radio Network, or ITRN for short. To date the leading media finger as well as main mouthpiece for the over the road long haul trucker as well as towing professional is Dixie Diesel/Maximum Overdrive(RodeWolfFM).

KSL says they can’t or couldn’t sell it. Did they know to who or how to sell it. Just like the other day, this sweet honey from KSL shows at RB’s/A&W. Did she leave a card to get them to call her? A&W gives away a tremendious amount of co-op money.

KSL didn’t see the flowers for the trees. Here they sat in the front yard of Flying J and Call Oil. Sinclair/Fearless Fairess, oil. Intermountain Peterbilt, Salt Lake Kenworth, Larry H Miller Truck Sales, the list is long but you get the idea, the money was there just KSL hadn’t taught their people how to go after it.

We did, we won, on goes life.

Now I get this email from this sweet seatcover from KSL, saying when we get a check for production we’ll  go from there. What part of the thing did she miss when I said, we’d produce, edit, film etc our own production for our ad? Yes honey like everything else we’re doing it ourselvez. As for the tow firm, you have it already partly done, why not take that ad from Allstate Insurance, Move it Over for Tow Trucks promo, and just say a word of note from RodeWolf Toewing of Idaho Utah, Wyoming. 801-292-9653, that’s 801-292-WOLF. and put that on TV?

As far as the video for the radio werx and all, thanks but no thanks KSL, we’ll do it ourselvez.
