Payton Place has nothing on Wendell Idaho, and it damn well ain't the Wendell I left, 20 years ago.

So I woke up early this morning, and took a long walk. Went up to the big cowboy out yonder, yes that big cowboy guy that Harbaugh bought from some gift store the other side of Shoshone years ago. Any mile as I walked back up the street I looked at my little house and thought, it's too bad that tiny house is where it is. Why did I get chosen to be the neighborhood assaulted? Then I remember the tiny sign on the entry way to my back room , That in short says, just don't put your nose in other peoples shit and don't let other people's opinion bother you.
I have yet to figure out what caused all of this, but maybe just being neighborly and peaceful, is beyond some folk's comprehension. I also remember getting the same feeling, when I used to have to go to school, here back in about the time we fired off the radio station down near West-Point. (that is in Idaho ya'll) that at about Mathers corner east and west there was a serious change for the better of better down near Hagerman, and worse east towards Wendell. Back then too I suppose, a ll these disturbed people were not up in arms somehow.  Sure glad I didn't bring my lady out here to experience this all. Granted Evanston was a rumor mill, but even if you did stub your toe in life once in awhile they eventually got over it, here ? Just don't know. Okay get this and I'm done with this issue, but I am already looking elsewhere for a place to live, When the guy who rents this to me asks why I'm moving, my response is ignorant, and bigoted neighbors. But considering that tiny sign above my back room door was there long before I moved here, must be a few other people have tried to make this work and only got the same thing. My only advice is why don't these two other neighbors, buy this little house, fix it up for one of their own and then they can control their neighborhood. Then innocent people don't get brought, in to the area that have no idea.
Two more days to pay day, get the car and truck out of here, radio gear moved elsewhere, the rest of my stuff in storage, then I don't have to mess with this. Heck can't even go outside on my front porch and enjoy the morning doves any more.
Uncle Jessie Duke said it once, he said," For every road that leads away from home, there's two roads that leed back. " Maybe elsewhere, but it seems and I could be wrong, but it seems the two roads that led back here for me had dead end, and detour written on em. As I once said,
My advice to those looking in from outside, stop here for fuel, a bite to eat or maybe your smokeless tobacco but damn well don't move here or look into moving here. Unless your ready to kiss ass of a very select racist bunch they will pester you to no end.
As soon as the weather cools off a bit this evening I'll be on our cyber radio station, located at www.spreaker.com/ayrewolf
